The four Cybersecurity Competence Network pilots met with the European Commissioner in charge of Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel in Strasbourg on 13th of March.
Cybersecurity research and policy initiatives was the subject on the agenda as well as a discussion on how the pilots can assist EU in strengthening its cybersecurity capacity.
The European Commission proposal for a European Regulation establishing a European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre and a Network of National Cybersecurity Coordination Centres in 2021 was the guideline for tracing the mission and objectives of CONCORDIA, ECHO, SPARTA and CyberSec4Europe.
